‘Solid Rock’ is a brand owned and operated by Always Distinctive Ltd. C/O 59 Cartway, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, WV16 4BG, UK.
‘Metal Defender’ is the website/E-commerce store owned and operated by Always Distinctive Ltd.
The following conditions of sale purport directly to sales made from this website, which is operated by Always Distinctive Ltd ( ADL ), hereinafter referred to as “the Vendor” or “We” or “Us”.

Formation of Contract
The goods offered by us may be ordered by you via the internet.
A contract will be formed on acceptance by us of your order.
If you choose to provide us with your email address you will receive communication of the details of your order by email. This confirmation acts only as a verification of order details and does not constitute acceptance of your offer to purchase goods. Acceptance will take place upon receipt of payment.
Your card will be charged as soon as you submit your order. You agree to accept the terms detailed below upon payment for your order.
Delivery
When will I get my order?
Solid Rock Book – Pre-orders ‘StarBreaker’ edition / The Publisher Editions
The current launch date for the ‘StarBreaker’ edition is November 10th 2023* Solid Rock will be shipped direct from the UK after this date and after your book has been signed and numbered. The Publisher editions are shipping now.
Solid Rock will be shipped on our behalf by our agents – Great British Trading Ltd. and all enquiries regarding delivery should be made to them directly at office@greatbritishtrading.co.uk
Cancelling your book order:
You may cancel your order of Solid Rock, if you wish, at any time prior to your book being sent to you. We will issue a refund within 7 days of a cancelled order. We do not accept returns unless your book is damaged.*
*We reserve the right to amend this date for whatever reason necessary. If your book arrives damaged you must notify us within 7 days via email at admin@metaldefender.co.uk including photos of any damage – We will arange to send a replacement book at our cost. Any customs or duty charges due on a package must be paid by the person receiving the package. As customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country, we cannot tell you what these costs would be, if there are any, and would therefore suggest you contact your local customs office. We do not assume any responsibility for customs issues or charges.

Clothing and accessories:
It takes 2-7 days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:
USA: 5-8 business days UK: 3-5 business days International: 10-20 business days.
Where will my order ship from?
We work with an on-demand order fulfillment company with facilities worldwide!
Will I be charged customs for my order?
An additional customs and tax fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.
My order should be here by now, but I still don’t have it. What should I do?
Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following: ● Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address. ● Ask your local post office if they have your package. ● Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them.
Pro tip: Package theft is on the rise— If you’re expecting a home delivery and you know you won’t be home to accept it, use an address where you know you’ll be! If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn’t left at the post office or at your neighbor’s, get in touch with us at sales@alwaysdistinctive.co.uk with your order number.
If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, we can send you a replacement order, but shipping will be at your own cost. Pro tip: The zip code is the most important part of the address. Use a simple tool like USPS ZIP code lookup to make sure you get it right!
Orders
How do I track my order?
If your shipping method includes tracking, you’ll receive a tracking link via email when your order ships out. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, drop us a line at admin@metaldefender.co.uk
I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do?
We’re so sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged. To help us resolve this for you quickly, please email us at admin@metaldefender.co.uk within a weeks’ time with photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. We’ll get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible!
Returns
What’s your return policy?
We don’t offer returns and exchanges, but if there’s something wrong with your order, please let us know by contacting us at sales@alwaysdistinctive.co.uk
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact us at admin@metaldefender.co.uk with photos of wrong/damaged items and we’ll sort that out for you.
Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?
At this time, we don’t offer exchanges. If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check out our sizing charts—we have one for every item listed on our store, in the product description section.Though rare, it’s possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that’s the case, please let us know at admin@metaldefender.co.uk within a week after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and we’ll send you a new one, or issue a refund!
Goods Ordered
Should an item be unavailable due to stocking issues the customer will be informed by email.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all details for their orders are correct at the time of ordering.
Upon placing the order, the customer agrees that the information given on the order is correct. Any changes to information contained on the customer at the time of ordering will be made at the discretion of ADL.
Cancellation
You may cancel an order at any time before shipping.Prior to shipment of the goods, cancellation can be effected by emailing ADL at admin@metaldefender.co.uk If you cancel the order after the goods have been shipped, the goods must be returned in excellent condition suitable for resale and in the original packaging and returned at your cost.
Following notification of cancellation, any sum relating to the cancelled order shall be credited to you within 7 days upon receipt of the goods, provided that the goods are returned by you to us in the condition in which they were delivered.
You will pay for the cost of return and original carriage of the goods unless the goods are faulty or damaged.
Fraudulent Orders
Attempts to gain goods with false or invalid information will be dealt with as fraud; Orders may be deleted without notification if we believe them to be fraudulent.
If we feel that you are using fraudulent information or credit card data that does not belong to you then we will be forced to pass on any information to the local authorities.
We reserve the right to credit or cancel any order that may appear to be fraudulent or incomplete immediately and without notice to you .
Price and Payment
The price of the goods shall be the price at the date of acceptance by us of your order.
All items are subject to availability. We will make our best efforts to inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available or if shipment may be delayed.
All prices are subject to change without notification. We may from time to time run promotional prices or limited time opportunities for qualifying purchases made during the promotional time period. Due to the time sensitive and promotional nature of these events, we are unable to offer price protection or retroactive discounts or refunds for previous purchases in the event of a price reduction or promotional offering.
Delivery charges shall be notified to you and shall be added to the price of the goods.
Payment shall be made by you by credit card, debit card through World Pay or PayPal.
Prices are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate where required.
Any customs or duty charges due on a package must be paid by the person receiving the package. As customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country, we cannot tell you what these costs would be, if there are any and would therefore suggest you contact your local customs office for details of current charges before ordering.
Credit card details are not stored by this website and are instead entered, transferred and processed on a secure platform (SSL), World Pay or PayPal.
Liability
Our liability to you for the goods shall be limited to the purchase price of the goods.
We shall not be liable for any loss of use, loss of revenue or loss of profit by you.
We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver or for any delay in doing so for any damage or defect to the goods which is caused by any act or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
Data Protection
All billing details (Card details are NOT stored by us, all financial transactions take place through World Pay or Paypal) will be kept for 3 years for taxation reasons and will then be destroyed.
No customer information, including email addresses shall be given or sold to any third parties in accordance with our privacy policy.
Assignment
Our rights and obligations and yours shall not be assigned without our prior consent in writing.
Third Party Rights
A person who is not a party to the contract between ourselves and you shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of the contract.
Partial Invalidity
If any of these terms and conditions or any part thereof are unenforceable, the enforceability of all other terms and conditions shall not be affected.
Waiver
No failure by us to exercise any right or remedy under these terms and conditions shall operate as a waiver of that right or remedy and no waiver by us of any breach of these terms and conditions shall operate as a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed according to English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction regarding any claim or matter arising under the terms and conditions.
Payment
We accept payment by major credit cards and debit cards through World Pay or PayPal.
Customers not living in the UK are not exempt from VAT.
